How much does an introductory flight cost?
We offer thrilling introductory flights to help give you a taste of what flying is all about. This is the moment to see if you want to make the jump into flight training. You will be with a Nightline Air Flight Instructor from beginning to end, answering questions you may have about training, our school, and see what it's like flying an airplane.

WHAT IS THE COST TO OBTAIN A PRIVATE PILOT CERTIFICATE?
The cost of flight training, whether it is for the Private Pilot Certificate or another certificate, varies from person to person. On average throughout the industry, student's can expect to pay anywhere from $12,000 to $17,000. This cost consist of aircraft rental, instructor, training materials, written test and checkride fees.
While the FAA only requires 40 hours of flight time to receive a Private Pilot Certificate, not every student will be ready to take the checkride by then. The national average to receive a Private Pilot Certificate is between 50 and 60 hours.

what are the steps to begin flight training?
We make the process quick and easy to enroll in either our Individual Programs or Zero to Hero Program.
- Call, text, or email us to schedule a meeting with a Nightline Air Enrollment Specialist to learn more about our program and tour our facilities.
- Obtain a Medical Certificate
- First Certificate for career-oriented pilots
- Not required to have prior to starting, but highly encouraged.
- Review financing options (if needed)
- Meet with an Enrollment Specialist to review payment and financing options.
- Contact an Enrollment Specialist to confirm your start date and training schedule.
Are students required to have aircraft renters insurance?
Yes, it is an industry-wide practice that students carry renters insurance prior to beginning flight training. Our team will walk you through the process of purchasing renters insurance through our partners during your first day of training. We do have required minimums that must be met in order to be approved.
what kind of airplanes do you fly and cost?
Our fleet consists of Piper Cherokees, Piper Archers, Sport Cruiser, and FAA Approved BATD.

do you accept the gi bill?
Unfortunately Nightline Air does not accept the GI Bill.
can i get a job as a cfi at Nightline air?
We strive to hire flight instructors that have gone through majority of their flight training through Nightline Air. Our goal is to keep each pilot in-house from student to flight instructor.
Getting a CFI job at Nightline Air is not guaranteed due to supply and demand of job opportunities.

can you work around my schedule?
Our FAA Part 61 Flight Training Program allows both structure and flexibility that is tailored to your style of learning and personal schedule. During the onboarding process, we will work to establish a desired training schedule, that can certainly be adjusted later on. Whether you train part or full time, Nightline Air has a curriculum that will be suitable for you.
what training materials do i need to get started with training?
There are numerous training materials available which causes confusion of what to purchase. At Nightline Air, we provide our full training kit that includes textbooks, flight planning tools, flight bag, and training course. We provide all materials except an iPad and Headset. We allow our students to purchase their desired device(s) with a wide range of prices. In addition, please have a valid US Passport or Birth Certificate available with an ID.
Are you a Part 61 or part 141 school?
Nightline Air is an FAA Part 61 Flight Training School.
